The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeatedLokomotiva (13-1) on the court of fifth ranked Tygri Praha on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Tygri Praha 88-70 . It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Lokomotiva. Tygri Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Lokomotiva 's 32. Tygri Praha outrebounded Plzen 44-31 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tygri Praha made 8 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Plzen helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for forward Ondrej Franek (165-2006) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Matej Langsadl helped adding 19 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). At the losing side point guard Jiri Paidar (183-2006) responded with 17 points and swingman David Michal (194) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Plzen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tygri Praha (8-6) moved-up to third place, which they share with USK Praha and Pardubice. Plzen at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost.
